Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your SSHelpingHands account from the app or website without contacting support. Review what is removed and what limited records may need to remain.

Delete from the Church Hub app

  1. Sign in and open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete account.
  3. Enter your current password, then type DELETE.
  4. Select Delete account permanently and confirm the final warning.

Delete from the website

  1. Sign in on the SSHelpingHands website.
  2. Open Dashboard, then My Profile.
  3. Enter your current password, select the account deletion action, type DELETE, and confirm the final warning.

What deletion removes

When deletion succeeds:

  • Your authentication sign-in is irreversibly disabled and renewable sessions are revoked.
  • Your active Church Hub memberships end and registered notification devices are deactivated.
  • You lose access to private family, group, schedule, message, attendance, and pickup views.

If you are the only active owner of a Church Hub workspace, you must transfer ownership to another active owner before deletion can continue. Removing the app from a device does not delete the account.

Records that may remain

Event registrations and some ministry records may be retained when reasonably needed for participant safety, safeguarding, fraud or abuse prevention, financial reconciliation, legal obligations, dispute handling, or an accurate ministry audit history. Retained records stay restricted and cannot be used to sign in or regain Church Hub access.

If you cannot sign in

Email admin@sshelpinghands.org from the address associated with the account and ask for account deletion help. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Do not send a password, payment card number, pickup code, or private participant details by email.
