Information we handle
Depending on how you use our services, information may include:
- Account identifiers, name, email address, phone number, and sign-in records.
- Event registrations, volunteer assignments, availability, and communication preferences.
- Household, guardian, child, class, attendance, and authorized pickup information supplied for ministry coordination and safety.
- Church Hub messages, group updates, notification inbox entries, and device registration details used to deliver optional push notifications.
- Technical and security information needed to operate, protect, diagnose, and improve the website and app.
Payment services may be provided by a third-party payment processor. SSHelpingHands does not use Church Hub to store complete payment card numbers.
How information is used
We use information to:
- Provide accounts, event registration, family tools, attendance, pickup, messages, schedules, and notifications.
- Coordinate volunteers and ministry programs with the church staff or leaders authorized for that workspace.
- Protect participants, prevent misuse, maintain operational history, and investigate service or security problems.
- Send service messages and the communications you have chosen to receive.
Access and sharing
Church Hub information is limited by workspace and role. Authorized church administrators, ministry leaders, teachers, volunteers, guardians, or members receive only the access needed for their role and relationship to the information.
We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, email, notifications, analytics, and payment processing. They receive information only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal information.
Children and family information
Child and family information is used for church ministry coordination, attendance, guardian communication, and safety. Family views require an authenticated account and an established church relationship. A parent or guardian may contact us to ask about or correct information connected to their household.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for ministry operations, participant safety, financial or legal obligations, dispute handling, and abuse prevention. Retention may vary by record type. We use technical and organizational controls intended to protect account and Church Hub information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Update available profile and notification settings in your account.
- Turn device notifications off in Church Hub or in your device settings.
- Request password recovery from the sign-in screen.
- Permanently delete your account from Church Hub Settings or your website profile. Read the account deletion details first.
