Important Disclaimer
The $600 registration fee covers ground costs (lodging, meals, transport, excursions) and the regional flight between Johannesburg and Windhoek. International airfare from Houston (IAH) to Johannesburg (JNB) is NOT included. Participants are responsible for booking the mandatory group flight itinerary separately. All participants must be aged 18–40 and possess a passport valid for at least six months beyond July 2026.
About This Event
Mission Namibia and South Africa 2026: Service, Fellowship, and Adventure Join St. Stephen’s Helping Hands and Mission 1615 for a dedicated mission of service in Southern Africa. This trip is designed for young adults (ages 18–40) who are committed to being the hands and feet of Christ through direct community engagement and humanitarian aid. Our Mission Focus We will be working with the Coptic Orthodox Churchesin Windhoek and Johannesburg under HG Bishop Joseph to provide support across several critical areas: Youth & Education: Facilitating Sunday School programs and supporting local orphanages. Community Relief: Serving in soup kitchens and providing outreach to local prison populations. Health & Culture: Leading health awareness workshops, medical services as needed, and engaging in cultural exchange with local tribes. Logistics & What’s Included The $600 Registration Fee covers your essential costs once the mission begins: Regional Airfare: Roundtrip flight between Johannesburg (JNB) and Windhoek (WDH). Accommodations & Meals: All lodging and food for the duration of the trip. Ground Transport: All local transportation and organized group excursions. Important: International Flight Requirement Please note that the registration fee does not include international airfare. To ensure the team arrives and departs together, all participants are required to book a specific flight itinerary: Route: Houston (IAH) ✈️ Johannesburg (JNB) Return. Details on the exact flight numbers and booking instructions will be sent immediately upon registration and Father of Confession approval.
